PREMIER STATE CUP – ROUNDS 2 & 3 – 27TH & 28TH NOVEMBER

Newcastle KRC and North Shore KC will be hosting Round 2 & Round 3 of the 2021 Premier State Cup  on Saturday/Sunday 27th and 28th November at the Newcastle Kart Racing Ground at Cameron Park.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
The series points winner from Rounds 1, 2 & 3 will be classified as the 2021 NSW Kart Champion for that Class/Division and awarded the Blue Plate (excluding KA2 & KZ2).

Pre-Entry Opens 5.00pm Friday 15th October and pre-payment is Compulsory.
Entry Fee
 is $249.00 (This is for both Rounds including Friday Practice) per Class/Driver. Only ONE Entry is required.
Entries Close Midnight Wednesday 24th November. Definitely No Late Entries will be Accepted.

Practice is Free but ONLY  for Race Entrants. Transponders are Compulsory for all sessions.

Practice in Clockwise Direction from  9.00am to 12.30pm
Practice in Anti-Clockwise Direction from 1.00pm to 4.30pm

Saturday 27th November – Round 2 – Anti-Clockwise Direction
Gates Open at 6.30am.
Canteen Opens 7.00am
Scrutineering from 7.30am
No Practice
8.00am – Qualifying – Grid from the Best Time recorded in the Anti-Clockwise Practice Sessions on Friday Afternoon.
Heat 1 – 8 Laps – Grid from Qualifying Session 1 – Fastest to the Front
Heat 2 – 8 Laps – Grid from Finishing Position in Heat 1
Heat 3 – 8 Laps – Grid from Heats 1 & 2 – Lowest to the front.
Final – 12 Laps – Grid from Heats 1, 2 & 3 points – Lowest to the front.
30 minutes after the last Final – Trophy Presentation for Round 2
Winner will be the driver who finishes 1st in the Final. (Final Only Counts)
1st to 3rd – All Classes.
Random draws for sets of tyres as well as a 9th Gen Apple iPad
Single Round Points will be allocated for the Series for each Competitor in each class.

Sunday 28th November – Round 3 – Clockwise Direction
Gates Open at 6.30am.
Canteen Opens 7.00am
No Practice or Qualifying
8.00am – Heat 1 – 8 Laps – Grid from Points accumulated in Heats 1, 2, 3 & Final in Round 2 on Saturday  – Lowest to the front.
Heat 2 – 8 Laps – Grid from Finishing Position in Heat 1
Heat 3 – 8 Laps – Grid from Heats 1 & 2 points – Lowest to the Front
Final – 12 Laps – Grid from Heats 1, 2 & 3 points – Lowest to the front.

Presentation to the Premier State Cup Series / 2021 NSW Kart Championship winners
1st to 3rd – All Classes.
Blue Plates to the winners of all classes except KA2 & KZ2.

Special Note – All Classes will be using the “Dry Prime Tyre” Option.

As per the State Regulations – The use of the CIK-FIA Front Fairing mounting kit is mandatory for the series as per Technical Rules Chapter 1 of the 2021 Karting Australia Manual.

 Special Notes:
Spectators will be Permitted depending on the NSW Govt Health Orders at the time.
All Attendees must Check in and Check Out each day using the NSW Govt QR Code system. Non Compliance may result in non entry.
A reminder that Drivers are now required to complete their Scrutineering Forms Electronically and can be completed and submitted at any time prior to the Event but before midnight Wednesday 24th November.
NOTE – Only one form is required for both Rounds 2 & 3
